The short answer is… get involved, do the work, keep track of and monitor the results, and keep your eye on the goal you are wanting to achieve. Sometimes extraordinary results can be accomplished very quickly and with relative ease. In other cases, it may take a while to produce seemingly small results.
Being focused on your goals and treating the processes we develop for you as an integral and ongoing part of your business and not a “quick fix,” or “magic bullet,” will bring you the best results.
We focus on businesses that have annual revenues of $1M to $25M, that offer products and/or services that provide a real, practical, and useful benefit to their intended customers and clients.
The owner, management, and staff of the business must truly believe that what they offer is in the best interest of the people who purchase it, and stand behind it 100 percent. They must operate on the premise that it is more advantageous for their customer to purchase and own the product or service than it is for the business to sell it to them.
By far, the biggest obstacle to implementing the models that we develop for our clients is the business owner him or herself.
When we take on a company as a partner, we make it very clear that if we develop the necessary strategies that will produce the desired results, and they fail to implement them, it not only costs them money that they could have had, but it also costs us time, resources, and money.
If we determine up front – before engaging in partnership – that they are not serious or motivated to do the necessary work, we will not accept them as a partner.
While the models we employ will generally work for nearly every kind of business no matter what the industry or profession, each individual business has its own uniquenesses and challenges that must be considered.
Our proprietary Assessment Model will give us the necessary information to not only determine whether our strategies will work for a particular business, but preciously which ones will produce the best results in the shortest amount of time.
We hit the ground running from day 1 and implement rapid cash strategies that will bring you the most amount of money in the shortest time possible. Sometimes simple tweaks or adjustments of a certain process can produce fast and exponential improvements. In other, more complex cases, an entire process may need to be scrapped and another, more effective process installed.
The time that it takes to see results is dependent on several factors including, how “results” are defined, what kinds of resources (human, money, time, etc.) are available, what the urgency and motivation of the principals of the business are, and how quickly you implement and carry out your assignments.
Our goal is four-fold… to produce the maximum amount of profit increase, in the shortest amount of time, with the least amount of effort, the lowest possible cost, and the least amount of risk. In other words, to put the largest amount of profit dollars in the bank account, in the fastest, easiest, least costly, and most risk-free way possible.
When we complete our Assessment Model, we’ll have identified the things that are holding you back from realizing the profits you’re capable of earning, and the things that we can do to optimize those profits. In those processes, we’ll have isolated the things that are causing you time, money, frustration, and anxiety worries, and in many cases, will have instituted ways to eliminate them.
We need to focus all energy and time in areas crucial to the business that can make most improvement in least time. Focusing on too many areas will lead to low level of change in all areas resulting in low level of improvement
Not necessarily. We’re in the business of making money, not wasting money.
Depending on what your goals are and how aggressively you want to pursue them, we may be able to achieve them with no-cost, or very low-cost methods. Or we may be able to take the money you are currently spending and reallocate it to other, more productive areas that will give us a better return. In some cases, with businesses that don’t have enough customers or clients and do not have an advertising budget, it may be necessary to look at ways to find the money that will enable us to achieve our desired results.
It depends. (Don’t you just hate that answer?)
But it really does. It depends on a variety of things such as,
- What are the specific goals we’re trying to achieve?
- How many strategies are we going to try and implement at one time?
- What resources (human, capital, technological, equipment, etc.) do we have available?
Naturally, the number of things to implement and the more resources we have available will have a bearing on the amount of time you will need. Generally speaking… and I mean “generally,” we can expect to produce some good results in just a few hours a week.
A lot of people call themselves consultants these days. Most consultants or coaches haven’t been in the trenches as entrepreneurs themselves, or built 8 figure businesses to truly understand what it takes.
Some operate more as a “coach,” some as “advisors,” and some actually do the work for their clients – more like an employee would do.
In our case, we are Growth and Acquisition Specialists and we are entrepreneurs ourselves who have acquired businesses, built businesses, sold businesses, through trial and errors. We share all of our knowledge with you and we also conduct a very thorough analysis of several areas of your business, your customers, fundamentals, lead generation, conversions, transactions, costs, your market, your competition, and identify the roadblocks that are keeping you from attaining optimal efficiency and profitability. We then deploy our models and formulate a simple, effective, and easy-to-implement action plan that will enable us to achieve the goals and objectives we have agreed on, and assign responsibility and accountability to ensure nothing falls through the cracks and we hit our targets.

It is important to note that no program, strategy, or process will work or produce the desired results if it is not applied.
We can, based on our research and experience, develop the models and the implementation plan, but the actual implementation of the strategies will need to be done by either you or your staff.
“Difficult” or “hard to implement” are relative. The strategies and processes we develop for you and your business, themselves, are not difficult or hard to implement. But some people make them difficult or hard to implement for several reasons…
- It’s going to require you to do new or different things than you’re used to doing
- You may have to rearrange your schedule or daily activities to do certain things
- You may have to give up things that you are used to doing or that you would like to do
- You may have to finally take control of your time and your business
- You may have to ask your staff or employees to do things they’re not used to
Some people may find the things listed difficult or hard to do, and others may not. How you view them is entirely up to you and the results you get will largely depend on that.
Every business owner thinks their customers or their business is different. And in some ways they are. The underlying principle is we’re still dealing with humans, and human behavior is very predicable.
But business principles that work for one business, as a general rule, will work for another business… even in a different industry or profession. There may need to be some tweaks or modifications made to fit a particular situation in a certain company, and those are all determined once the research and audits have been completed.
There may be times when making an investment in a clients business, either in cash, in time, resources, or as a board member makes sense. There are even occasions that buying the business outright might be a good option for both parties, if the business meets our criteria. We are certainly open to discussing the possibility if it makes sense for all parties.
Sometimes, a good business needs a bit of refinement to become a great business and be a perfect candidate for an acquisition.
Our primary focus is acquiring exceptional businesses. If a minor obstacle stands in the way, granting the business seller access to the (T.A.G) program might be the perfect solution, making growth partnerships the secondary priority.
